The moment of truth

Today I will be going to meet with a ankle-foot "specialist" person about my right foot. I hope this will shed some light on what exactly I did while playing football. Who knows what needs to be done. More importantly, how bad is it that I haven't had anything done since injuring it more than two weeks ago? I guess this guy will tell me today. And I'll probably need surgery. I feel like I'm stuck in a tunnel with a giant light fastly approaching. Even though I see it, even though I know what it is, the tunnel isn't wide enough to get out of the way (plus, I'm too crippled to run). So when I see this doctor today, I better brace myself for one big collision.
